Kenmart was formed in 1977 by our Chairman, Martin Kennedy. The company was originally set up as a service centre for Komori printing machines and allied equipment. Martin Kennedy had previously been employed by Thomas E. Knight & Company who from 1966 was the Komori agents in the U.K.
Martin, along with his colleagues, installed the first Komori single colour printing machine to be delivered into the U.K. in 1967 and from this time became involved in establishing the Komori printing press into the U.K. market. Although Kenmart are recognised throughout the world as Komori experts, Kenmart do supply machines from all major manufacturers. We have fully trained Heidelberg, Roland, Ryobi and Komori engineers as part of our team. We also have electronics engineers trained to the highest standard. Kenmart can also provide folding, stitching and cutting machines and ancillary equipment.

Over the past 32 years Kenmart has supplied approximately 1,500 Komori machines into the United Kingdom. In recent years Kenmart has expanded its activity into the export market and instead of simply loading machines into containers, Kenmart offer the same services to overseas printers as they do to English printers. There are now some 100 Kenmart machines running successfully with our overseas clients. Kenmart will arrange the shipment of the machine that you purchase from us and we will send our staff to your factory to carry out the installation, commissioning and print testing. We can also arrange the installation of machines that you have purchased from another source. |
